Reefer box trucks, 4–6 pallets

16 ft refrigerated box truck service

When a shipment outgrows a van but doesn’t justify a 53 ft trailer, a 16 ft refrigerated box truck carries 4–6 pallets at the temperature you set. Ours are Ford Transit box trucks with Thermo King units, and every one comes with a driver.

If your freight is a full truckload, a tractor-trailer carrier will be more economical. For one to six pallets, a right-sized reefer truck avoids paying for empty trailer space.

Refrigerated box truck questions

Have a specific requirement?
Let’s talk: (858) 367-3581

How many pallets fit in a 16 ft refrigerated box truck?

Ours carry 4–6 pallets, up to about 3,500 lb. Fit depends on pallet size and weight, so tell us if yours are oversized or double-stacked.

Is this a refrigerated box truck rental?

No. We don’t rent trucks. You book a delivery, and the truck comes with a driver who handles the run and the refrigeration unit.

What’s the difference between a reefer truck and a box truck?

“Reefer” is short for refrigerated. A reefer box truck is a straight truck with an insulated box and its own refrigeration unit, as opposed to a dry box truck.

Can a box truck go out of state?

Yes. Pickups are in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas, and we deliver anywhere in the US. We confirm timing for long-distance runs in the quote.

Can you run the same box truck route every week?

Yes. Recurring routes can be daily, weekly, or on your own schedule, and can include multiple stops.
