Floral transportation
Cut flowers and plants are perishable, temperature-sensitive, and often needed before dawn. We run refrigerated vans and box trucks between North County San Diego growers, San Diego wholesalers, and the Los Angeles Flower Market, on recurring schedules or for one-time loads.

Who it’s for
Growers, wholesalers, and event florists
- North County growers shipping to wholesale markets
- San Diego wholesalers buying from the LA Flower Market
- Event and wedding florists moving large orders
- Nurseries moving potted plants that need a cool vehicle
Temperature
Cold for most cut flowers, cooler-not-cold for tropicals
Most cut flowers and greens hold best just above freezing. Tropical flowers such as orchids, anthuriums, and ginger, along with many potted plants, are damaged by that cold and need a warmer, cool setting. Tell us what you are shipping, or the setpoint you use in your own cooler, and we will match it.
Flowers are also sensitive to ethylene from ripening fruit. On a dedicated run, the vehicle carries only your freight.
| Band | Range | Typical freight |
|---|---|---|
| Chilled | 33–40°F | Roses, most cut flowers, greens |
| Cool | 41–60°F | Tropical flowers, potted plants |

Floral transportation questions
Have a specific requirement?
Let’s talk: (858) 367-3581
What is the best way to transport flowers?
In a refrigerated vehicle at the right temperature for the variety, boxed or in buckets so stems are protected, and away from ripening fruit. Short, direct runs help preserve vase life.
What temperature should cut flowers travel at?
Most cut flowers do best just above freezing. Tropical varieties and many potted plants need a warmer, cool setting. Send your setpoint and we will run to it.
Can you deliver to the LA Flower Market early in the morning?
Yes. Dispatch is available 24/7. Send the receiving time with your request, and we will plan the departure from San Diego around it.
Can you handle extra volume before Valentine’s Day?
Book as early as you can. Peak dates fill quickly, and advance notice lets us plan the right vehicles for your volume.
Do you move potted plants as well as cut flowers?
Yes. Potted plants usually need a cool setting rather than a cold one. Include pot sizes and the number of pallets or racks in your request.
